Free Dean Gillispie-an Innocent Man
Tue, Jan 4, 2011 - 06:04 PMPosted by Laure Quinlivan in Crime

There was a story on CBS News tonight about a guy just freed after 30 years in prison with the help of the Innocent Project.  The Ohio Innocence Project is trying to free Dean Gillispie, a man from Fairborn who has served 20 years.

Governor Ted Strickland has the opportunity and the power to grant clemency to Dean Gillispie before he leaves office on January 9 and I have been lobbying him to do it...along with dozens of Gillispie's friends, family and supporters who have been fighting to free him for two decades.

He was convincted based only on eyewitness testimony--very unreliable and very unfair.  Hope you will take time to watch the videos on my Free Dean Gillispie page under Issues.
